The birthplace of so many legendary baseball players remains a challenging environment for an aspiring young player to build a life around baseball. Nate visits frequently, conducts instructional clinics, and raises funds to support players and teams with equipment.
Please donate your gently used equipment or fund the purchase of new equipment where it can do so much good. This is no time to stay on the sidelines.

THE LEGACY
BASEBALL IS DEEPLY INGRAINED INTO THE TROSKY LINEAGE
…most of whom were born and bred in the small farm town of Norway, Iowa. Norway, subtly known as the baseball capital of the world, has bred more professional baseball players per capita than any other US city.
Within the Trosky family there are 4 major league and 4 minor league baseball professionals, the most prominent being Hal Trosky, the greatest rookie in baseball history. In 1934, during Trosky’s rookie season with the Cleveland Indians, he drove 137 RBI’s, hit 35 home runs, and batted .333. In 1936, he was placed on the cover of Wheaties Cereal for leading the American League with 162 RBI’s, 42 home runs, and batting a .343.
